This portable node is now in Medford NY at the QTH of N2OQH

 

The components consist of:

• Raspberry Pi3
• Rimlite Interface
• Baofeng BF888 UHF Portable radio
• Plastic Ammo box enclosure
• 5 amp 12 volt power supply with a 12v to 5 volt converter @ 3 amps

 

Thanks to KJ6FO for his detailed information about the BF888 modification.

My 888 was the same as his where the cos point was not readily available on the top of the circuit board and his site helped me out.
