We recently acquired a UHF MTR2000 to replace our MSF5000 Repeater which has served us well for many years. I am planning to document the process here. This was put into service in the Fall of 2023, and is working well for us. 449.300 Long Island NY.

MTR2000 PROGRAMMING CABLE, NO RIB REQUIRED:
Get a T568B Ethernet cable, probably the most common out there, and cut off one end.
Get a DB9 female connector, with clam shell.
Solder the white/blue wire to pin 5 of the DB9
Solder the green to pin 2 of the DB9
Solder the white/brown to pin 3 of the DB9
Attach your clam shell and cable retention Program your repeater!

MTR2000 Interface Adapter
To connect this adapter to your Arcom RC210 you will need a Straight Thru Serial type cable with DB9 male pins on each side.
More to follow- Still under construction.
900 MHz MTR2000
I’ve recently added a 900 MHz MTR2000 to the lineup. It’s currently on the bench and I’m configuring it now (12/2023) and hope to either have it up at our 2nd site or possible to replace the aging MSF5000.
